It seems there's no end to all those hot billboards and i do mean hot! After seeing the "Support the Philippine Volcanoes OMFG Billboards", I saw another one and this time it's Azkal Captain Aly Borromeo... Could Chieffy, Neil Etheridge and the Younghusbands' will be next? Can't wait.
UPDATED: See, i told you, "THEY" are going to take these billboards down!
I was on my way home from work when the taxi stop for awhile because of the traffic. We were under the EDSA Guadalupe area and when i look to my right, i was completely frozen as i look at the large Billboards usually reserve for Bench Clothing and there were giants photos of the Philippine Rugby Team. Wowza! I heard of other country's rugby team posing for charity thru calendar but these ads is way different...

Staying at Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo has always been in my bucket list.
I want to stay in this wonderful room and do nothing but laze around...
or eat outside the hotel marveling at all those gorgeous cars and people...
or simply just stay in the lobby

I have been in awe of Audrey Hepburn since i first saw her in Sabrina. And thus began my lifelong fascination with her and classical movies circa 1950's, the golden years of Hollywood movies. It seem such a far away era and the most romantic for me. Don't you just wish that you could live in that time but only just like in those 50's movies... And i'm daydreaming about it again as i watched Arianna or Love in the Afternoon starring Audrey Hepburn and Gary Cooper. I don't like Gary Cooper, he seem so old in this movie, Cary Grant would have been great as Frank Flannagan.
And i like this picture of her with a Louis Vuitton suitcases on the corridor of The Ritz. Audrey Hepburn + Louis Vuitton = Simple Class
And i find it humorous that those serenading musicians are always around, even in the steam bath and the end credits.
And of course who could forget the soundtrack... Fascination is such a divine song. I find myself humming it endlessly today. Thought about the first song heard syndrome.

It's going to be a long weekend ahead of me and i'm going to enjoy it to the fullest. And as the past few days has been a very rewarding one, let me give you a rundown of what i found very entertaining and the things i love.
I've read this wonderful quote from my favorite Nigella Lawson, cook extraordinare, who at one time also dreamed of writing the great novel of all time - just like me:
Yes, i know the feeling Ms. Lawson, and writing that Great Novel is still on my list.
I think i am seriously addicted to True Crime novels. Can't stop myself from buying and reading it. Do i need help? Hope not, actually all these reading makes me want to enroll in criminal profiling course, just for fun. There is something fascinating about crimes and the minds of the criminal, that's why i also devour watching the Criminal Minds not only because of Shemar Moore, he is so sexy! but because each episode is as fascinating as the cases they tackled. On the other hand, it's also kind of a scary because it made me think that somehow Dr. Spencer Reid, one of the characters, is right in saying that criminals or serial killers are great profilers too. They have the ability to know and separate their victims from the environment and manipulate their fears to make the killing more satisfactory... There are really monsters out in this world. They are just around us.
In one of the article in my new favorite Maven Magazine there is a topic on being single and what the writer says about "The One" and how she "redefined" is interesting:
And here is my favorite part, these are the things i've discovered lately and i love, love it!
MUJI Recycled Notebook
Yummy Pan De Bagnet
Scrumptious Hapadog
Vitra Dolls of Alexander Girard
Shiseido Shimmering Rouge in PK407
The GLEE Project. Seriously, we need another Quinn or a Funnier Kurt!
I love their rendition of Katy Perry's Firework.
And my most favorite for this week - Julia Quinn's Just Like Heaven. Yes, the Smythe-Smiths are back (and we fans know how the Bridgerton are somehow close to them) and their youngest have a love story to tell. I'm reserving it for this weekend. Happy reading.

I think that what separates novelists from the rest of us is the ability to sit down and write a novel. If i had that, it would have happened by now

Your definition of the Right Man will change over time. I promise that you will not be attracted to bad boys for life. The person you are now is different from who you were ten years ago, so naturally the traits of the person that would suit you has changed as well. She has a point there. Made me think of a quote:
Don't look and wait fro Mr. Right, look for Mr. Right Now.

Bella means beautiful in Italian and Isabella Swan is one beautiful bride as it was twittered that she wore a Carolina Herrera for her wedding gown, not Zac Posen after all. We will be waiting for the photos as we're slowly going mad with all these and waiting for the November playdate...
And have you seen the wedding band?

Airbus has just released photos of a transparent airplane that will dominate the air in 40 years time. Why so long? I was so excited when i heard this news. Can you imagine flying at an altitude of about 20,000 fee and you could see outside. Must be lovely at nighttime. Seeing all those stars. But we won't see this technology of seamless travel in the near future. More like in the 2050 where:
I'll be old before this happens. I hope they're going to fast-track this air technology travel.
business and economy cabins are replaced by zones for relaxation in the front, work in the back, and a fully-stocked bar for socialising. Passengers will be able to see everything to the sides and in front of them. So blindfolds might be handy come take-off and landing time. The aircraft's walls change according to light conditions. There are holographic pop-up gaming displays and in-flight entertainment powered by the heat of passengers' bodies. The technology could mean travellers might even be able to read bedtime stories to their children back home.
Most of the basic technology such as moulding seats and 'head-up displays' already exist, but how Airbus plan to make the plant-based, transparent 'skin' of the plane remains a mystery.
