Chemworld Fragrance Factory was established in 2004, it is your one-stop-shop for all your perfumery needs - with hundreds of fragrance oils and essential oils, a wide selection of perfume bottles and boxes, and raw materials that will fit every fragrance application. What more, Chemworld have hands-on fragrance workshops where they teach step-by-step how to blend & sell your own perfumes.

Aside from the blessing and opening, the management also presented to the media their latest project – The Ylang-Ylang Project” which aims to promote Philippines Ylang-ylang as the top ingredients in the scent industry, "To me Ylang-ylang the most important ingredient in the fragrance industry," said Venkataraman Ramkumar, Vice President, Supply Chain Scent & Care, Asia Pacific Sunrise.

It is not a secret that the Philippines was the number 1 supplier of the finest ylang-ylang oil in the world. Until in the early 1900 when it stopped because some of the neighboring country started buying seeds and planted their own. But ylang-ylang is rightfully our very own flowers.

The "Ylang-Ylang Project." will be Chemworld Fragrance Factory main project and already various measures are undertaken to make this one a successful project which also will help many of our countrymen once it took off.

"Manila Ylang-Ylang oil" is considered the best and the finest and our country had a virtual monopoly of the world's supply.  Sadly, once the French learned of its economic potential in the perfume industry, they took several in other where commercial plantations were developed in Madagascar and Comoros. The French colonies in the Indian Ocean became the dominant sources of the Ylang-Ylang oil. Thus began the painful death of the Philippine industry in the early 1900's. So Chemworld will take it upon themselves to bring life to our ylang-ylang industry.

Chemworld Fragrance Factory is a fount of scents and fragrances and literally there’s a bunch of perfumes here that you cannot find in other stores. So come and visit their largest branch at Megamall.
