Celebrate with Applebee’s New Flavors and Food Items

#CelebrateEverything and #ServingUpGoodTimes is Applebee's Grill and Bar Philippines mantra as they recently held a celebration for their newest dishes of appetizers, main dishes and the sweetest desserts ever. What more, they also launched the newest addition to their very impressive bar - the Engkanto Draft Beer.


Last September 7, 2017 at the Applebee’s BGC, we have a one-of-a-kind celebration as we tried out and indulged in their new dishes which also includes local favorites among others.

Since it first opened its Philippines branch, Applebee's, the popular American chain, has always been giving its valued customers large-portion dishes meant to celebrate momentous occasion or just to celebrate everything. This September 2017, they present their newest wave of newest food items. With more than twenty new dishes to choose from, you will never worry with what to order with its choices of new dishes



As Marketing Manager of Applebee’s Philippines said, “Aplplebee’s Bar and Grill is all about having fun, enjoying great food, and sharing a free laugh over drinks with friends and families.” He also added that, “Applebee’s will provide you with that oasis, wherein you can relax, and enjoy yourself, and leave your cares outside the door.”   


These lot of new dishes on the menu are really a must try and let me tell you why:

SUPER MUST TRY: Grilled Watermelon and Spicy Shrimp Salad (Php765/Full, Php445/Half) I never knew that grilled watermelons are the juiciest and sweetest ever, now I’m a fan of any salad with watermelons on it. These salad has diced cucumbers, feta cheese, fresh greens with toasted almonds mixed in a creamy mint yoghurt dressing especially topped with spicy grilled shrimp and of course, grilled watermelon cubes.

MUST TRY: Grilled Sausage Marinara Pasta (Php495) Grilled Schueblig Sausage, mixed with assorted mushrooms, bell pepper, sundried tomatoes and spaghetti noodles sautéed in a savoury marinara sauce with select spices.

Firecracker Shrimp (Php595). Since I was bit late, I was able to order this. The crispy fried breaded shrimp topped on the Cavatappi pasta is made more savoury as it is tossed in Sriracha Parmesan cream sauce with grilled vegetable relish.

MUST TRY: 4-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Peppers Chicken Tenders (Php525). The Cavatappi pasta is covered with rich 4-cheese cream sauce tossed with bacon, and bell peppers and topped with chicken tenders glazed with honey pepper sauce.

Applebee’s Pork Liempo Adobo, a part of their local favorites, is so succulent and tender. It is drizzled with savoury soy-vinegar sauce and topped with fried garlic chips and lots of onions. It’s another variation of adobo that is worth a try.

Teriyaki Balsamic Glazed Salmon (Php695). I am not a fan of fish but when I tried this ocean fresh Norwegian Pink Salmon basted with Teriyaki balsamic glaze and served with Mexi-rice and green bean crispers, I find it quite delicious.

SUPER MUST TRY: Triple Meat All-In Burger (Php795) This meaty combination of USDA beef burger patty, double smoked bacon, and shredded beef brisket in honey BBQ sauce with cheddar cheese sandwiched in a toasted Brioche bun is what heaven must taste like to burger lovers.

I love beer, and one of my memorable moment is when I get to taste more than 40 beers when I visited Frankfurt, Germany. Here at Applebee’s they will start serving craft beers by Engkanto Brewery as part of their impressive bar. The Pale and Lager will be a nice pair to their list of appetizers such as Fried Sweet and Spicy Pickles (SUPER MUST TRY), Bacon Jalapeno Potato Croquettes, and Calamari. It’s a MUST TRY with Lager and Bacon Jalapeno Potato Croquettes.

It’s Dessert time and we were never disappointed as we try Applebee’s:

SUPER MUST TRY: Banoffee Cheesecake (Php350), a toffee cheesecake on a coffee graham cracker crust drizzled with dulce de leche and hot fudge sauces topped with banana chips.

S’Mores Crème Brulee (Php350) It’s a sugar glazed chocolate crème brulee topped with a banoffe crumble and toasted marshmallows.

We super have a wonderful celebration over at Applebee’s BGC and we sure are going to come back to try their other new dishes. Why not visit them yourselves.
