One of the popular activities during the Victorious launch is the presentation of the Vine Holistic Infusion Drips treatment where several guests tried it depending on their different needs.

It is a fact that we humans eat in order to get the right nutrients for our body to function properly. When the body lacks the proper nutrients, a person may show an unhealthy appearance, may exhibit weakness as he moves around. He/She may get sick most of the time or, worse, develop a certain disease.

The lack of nutrients is one reason why we take multivitamin supplements. However, the effect of supplements are not immediate as the tablets or a capsule needs to be digested. A medical approach to faster absorption of vitamins and nutrients is by administering it through intravenous feeding or IV.

This procedure is widely known in the medical field as one being used by the late Dr. John Myers, MD of Baltimore. His practice involved the use of vitamin-and-mineral formulas that were administered to his patients via IV. This treated various clinical conditions like asthma attacks, migraine, fatigue, and others.

When Myers passed away in 1984, another Baltimore doctor, Dr. Alan Gaby, MD, know about Myers' IV nutrient therapy procedure. He was able to copy it and continued to treat many of Myers' patients as well as other patients. Gaby was known to have popularized the IV nutrient therapy treatment of Myers.

As the years passed, and a number of clinical trials later, the IV nutrient therapy treatment became widely used by many medical practitioners. This is due to the procedure's immediate effect on patients and individuals who received this method of treatment.

Some aesthetic clinics in the country are now offering similar IV nutrient therapy treatment. It is performed by combining the proper and safe vitamins and nutrients depending on the patient's needs and the mix is delivered to the patient via IV.

When Vine Holistic Medical Aesthetics opened in 2013, this treatment was called 'Chelation Therapy' which initially has four types -the  Whitening Drip, the Anti-aging Drip, the Slimming Drip and the complete Chelation Therapy drip (a mix of all the other drips cocktailed into one formula). Over the years, the clinic had to come up with other types of IV nutrient treatment or drips to cater to the increasing needs and demands of patients.

Currently, Vine Holistic has 12 types of drips that consumers can choose from. Their Snow White Drip is a complete 5-in-1 whitening treatment compared to the White Drip that aims to give patients a gleaming, fairer skin.

Men who aim to gain muscle can benefit from the Macho Drip which contains amino acids and protein nutrients. There's also the Superheroes Drip, a combination of vitamin C, magnesium and zinc that helps increase the immunity and energy of patients.

Those who simply want to gain weight can avail of the Gains Drip. In contrast, the Sexy Drip is the ideal treatment for patients who want to loose weight by reducing body fat.

'Forever Young' is now the new name of Vine Holistic's anti-aging drip. There's also the PA-PRP (Adistem Photoactivated-Platelet Rich Plasma) Drip that offers cell rejuvenation and repair.

The clinic also has other drips that gives benefit to specific areas of the body. Like the Calci Drip which aims to promote bone strength, and the Rapunzel Drip which helps hair revitalization. Meanwhile, the Baywatch Drip is a combination of placenta and collagen specifically made for women to increase breast size.

There's also the Hangover Drip composed of vitamin B complex and vitamin D a simple and immediate treatment for those who want to sober up and detoxify their body after consuming too many alcohols.

According to Dr. Emehly Sevilla, founder of Vine Holistic Medical Aesthetic Clinic, clients and patients are advised to consult their respective physicians first before availing their Drips services. There are certain drips that require laboratory services before it is safely administered to a patient and they wouldn't perform it without any recommendation from their respective doctors and Vine Holistic's resident doctors.

"Even with a complete laboratory examination, the patient will also have to be thoroughly evaluated by a Vine Holistic doctor. There are certain doses in some of the Drips that needs to be monitored and checked properly before it is performed to a patient."
