Concentrix Philippines brings fun and joy to underprivileged kids
Reinforces commitment to robust CSR program by partnering with
United Airlines’ Adventure Bear Program
Concentrix, a leading global business services company, reinforced its
commitment to social causes by partnering with United Airlines at the Adventure
Bear Program 2017. The event, held at the National Children’s Hospital in New
Manila, Quezon City, is organized by United Airlines annually to help deprived groups
in the Philippines and perfectly aligns with Concentrix Philippines’ CSR efforts
to give back to the community.
Adventure Bear Program is an initiative of United Airlines to serve the
economically backward groups in the community and support local hospitals and
charities. Concentrix Philippines has always been at the forefront of working
for the welfare of children, among other noteworthy causes. It has earlier organized
the Marawi Donation Drive, held school refurbishing and coastal cleanup drives,
and donated computers to schools.
“Giving back to the community has always been part of our culture here
at Concentrix, and we are delighted and thankful for being part of United
Airlines’ Adventure Bear Program,” said Concentrix country leader Elek Toth.
“It is indeed a privilege to see how this effort has brought smiles and joy to
the less-fortunate children. It’s been a truly humbling experience.”
Now in its third year, the decision to support the National Children’s
Hospital this year was to spend quality time with indigent children from poor
backgrounds. The hospital is a government facility run by the Department of
Health and dedicated to pediatric care. The young patients were presented with Ben
Flyin’ Adventure Bears and happiness bags, and participated in a balloon
twisting activity and other fun games.
The smiles on the faces of the children capped a truly wonderful day,
and one worth remembering for all Concentrix Philippines staff!
