Ready Set Blog 2.0 : Merging empowered Bloggers
It’s
very seldom for bloggers to get together just for fun. We may see each other
during events or keep touch once in a while but the idea of having a party just
for the fun of being together only happen when someone gives their time and
effort for this, luckily, we have friends who can manage this. Thanks to Anne
Purificacion and Maiko Dungo, Ready, Set, Blog 2.0 was a fun and informative
day for all of us.
Held at Selah Garden Hotel, the
perfect getaway in the city, we listened to series of talks given by bloggers
friends John Cueto of www.techupdateasia.wordpress.com where
he talked about Blogging 101 and digital marketing; Adae Ang of www.adae2remember.com tackled Personality Development and Zheyme Manahan
of www.tasteofgoodness.info discussed SEO
for bloggers.
The talks certainly was the
highlights of the gathering and we hope that in the future Ready.Set.Blog, we’ll
have more time given for this kind of
discussion that is surely a big help to us bloggers.
And what is a party without
raffles? Seriously, the organizers are such a generous bunch and all of us took
home prizes and more. What followed after is a hearty dinner and mingling with
friends. The next day is more exciting as we take advantage of the hotel
facilities and activities that makes the gathering more fun.
