by - March 09, 2019

March is declared as the Fire Prevention Month and taking the lead to fire up the Fire Prevention Month is SM City Marikina with Paw Patrol’s Marshall Meet and Greet and the Junior Fire Fighters Camp activities.

Paw Patrol is ready for another action weekend in #SMCityMarikina as Marshall is ready to Ruff Ruff Rescue with a Meet and Greet for the Fire Prevention Month. Earlier, children and their parents lined up for a selfie or photo opportunity with their favourite pup. The Meet and Greet is happening until tomorrow March 9 at the SM City Marikina Atrium.

Another Fire Prevention Month activity at the SM City Marikina together with Bureau of Fire Protection is the weeklong Junior Fire Fighters Camp happening from March 9 – 14, 2019. Together they will hold the Fire Square Roadshow on March 9-10 and the Fire Fighters Art Exhibit on March 11-14.

During the first day activity of the Fire Square Roadshow, the children with the able help of the BFP Marikina were taught about Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, Bandaging and Splinting, Ropemanship and Knot Tying, Firefighting Techniques, about the Firehouse and the most exciting for the kids – Rappeling.

So, come, visit and shop at SM City Marikina and let your kids, especially those from 2 years old to 13 years old experienced first-hand firefighting skills and learned more about why we observe Fire Prevention Month every March.
