Shopee Wraps Up an Outstanding 11.11 Big Sale With 70 Million Items Sold on November 11
Shopee, the leading
e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, wraps up its largest Shopee
11.11 Big Sale. Shopee continued to drive the 11.11 shopping phenomenon in the
region as it set new records on November 11. Highlights include:

Shopee also
delivered on its promise to offer an engaging shopping experience at 11.11 Big Sale. Users returned daily to play
and win prizes via Shopee’s collection of in-app games, including its first
augmented reality (AR) game Shopee Catch. The games were played over 150
million times in three weeks.
In addition, Shopee
brought non-stop entertainment to users with over 65 million views recorded across its 11.11 Big Sale streams.
Local celebrities including Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza, and Jose Mari Chan,
as well as superstars GFriend and Rainie Yang also joined special streams on
November 10 and 11 to celebrate the finale of 11.11 Big Sale with users.

Shopee 11.11 Big Christmas Sale treated users to three weeks of unstoppable
promotions and entertainment, headlined by free shipping with no minimum spend.
Shopee welcomed the
peak sale day with the Shopee 11.11 Big Christmas TV Special on November 10
live on GMA and Shopee Live. The televised show featured performances from top
celebrities including Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza, Heart Evangelista, and
more. Brand ambassador Jose Mari Chan also gave an exclusive performance of
Shopee’s latest Christmas jingle on-stage.
On November 11,
brands and sellers on Shopee received a huge boost to their sales. Top
performing brands recorded an average of 4,227 times increase in traffic and
1,899 times growth in sales, while shopping activity peaked at 12:10 AM.
Shopee continued to
see more male users and older users shopping on November 11. Male users are
shopping most often for Mobile & Accessories and Men’s Apparel products,
with power banks, earphones, and jogger pants being the hottest items. In addition,
users aged over 50 were looking for household necessities like water
dispensers, portable fans, and outdoor grills.
