Adventures of a Diva Princess

Red Bull Half Court is heading to the Philippines for its 2026 World Finals, taking the world’s fastest 3on3 tournament to one of the most basketball-loving cities on the planet. On December 5, national champions from across the globe will compete to be crowned Red Bull Half Court champions, in a celebration of basketball, art and street culture.

In Manila, basketball is more than a sport: it is part of everyday life. The 2026 World Finals will tap into that energy across two distinct

sides of the city: the historic Fort Santiago in Intramuros and the modern heart of Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

As part of this year’s World Finals, Red Bull Half Court is inviting local designers, street art enthusiasts, and basketball fans to design the basketball court of their dreams and see it brought to life through Red Bull Half Court Design My Court. Submission of entries is from September 28 – October 21.

Here’s all you need to know:
For the first time, Red Bull Half Court brings its World Finals to the Philippines. Across neighborhoods and local courts, basketball is part of everyday life in the Philippines, making Manila a natural home for the tournament.

Paul Gudde, Red Bull Half Court Global Sports Director, said: “Manila is built for this format. It’s a city where basketball isn’t just watched, it’s lived. Bringing the World Finals here is about connecting the global 3on3 community with a place that truly understands what playground basketball is all about.”

The World Finals will unfold across two very different sides of Manila.
The group phase will be staged at Fort Santiago in Intramuros, one of Manila’s most recognizable historical landmarks. Set within the city’s iconic walled district, teams will battle for a place in the following day’s Finals.

For Finals day, the tournament moves to Bonifacio Global City (BGC), where the remaining teams will compete to be crowned Red Bull Half Court champions in one of Manila’s most dynamic urban districts.

Familiar faces from the global basketball scene will also be in Manila. Streetball icon Grayson “The Professor” Boucher and renowned shooting coach Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews will join the event alongside Polish Red Bull athlete and world-class dunker Piotr “Grabo” Grabowski, and Filipino dunking star David “Air David” Carlos, a FIBA 3x3 World Tour Dunk Contest winner and one of the Philippines’ leading dunkers.
Grayson “The Professor” Boucher said: “The Philippines is one of my favorite countries to visit because the fans love basketball/streetball culture. I can’t wait to come over for the Red Bull Half Court World Finals to do some park takeovers and see the best 3v3 streetball teams from around the globe. I know the Manila crowd is going to be a vibe and the World Finals out there is gonna be a movie.”
World-Renowned Shooting Coach Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews, global ambassador for the event, said: “I have been to Manila multiple times and am always impressed by the level of passion for basketball that the athletes have. In particular, there’s a huge appreciation for the art of shooting in Manila. Coming back for Red Bull Half Court is going to be special, you’ve got national champions from around the world coming to compete and represent their countries. I know we’re going to see some great athletes competing at the highest level.”
The sixth Red Bull Half Court season has seen players compete across Egypt, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Nigeria, the Philippines, South Africa, Sweden, and Ukraine, with national champions from 13 countries set to compete on the global stage in Manila.
Several teams have already secured their spot at the World Finals. India’s men’s champions, Team 911, booked their ticket following victory in Chandigarh, while Team Sinatra will represent North Macedonia after taking the national title in Skopje. On home soil, JSKILLS claimed the Philippines men’s title, while Pilipinas Aguilas secured the women’s crown. Egypt will be represented by Team Hustlers and Bad Luck, with more national champions set to join the line-up as qualifiers continue.
Red Bull Half Court brings the fastest version of 3on3 basketball to players worldwide. Games are capped at 10 minutes, with the first team to 21 points taking the win. During pool play, the team accumulating the most scoring points receives the “own the court bonus” to aid in advancing to the next stage, ensuring a fast-paced version of 3on3
basketball. A further twist comes from two special three-point scoring circles behind the arc, adding an extra risk-reward element to the game.
Since launching in 2021, Red Bull Half Court has taken its World Finals to iconic locations in Rome, Cairo, Belgrade, New York City and Dubai. In 2026, the tournament’s next chapter will be written in Manila.

Media can download a wide variety of moving and still images, which is free of charge for editorial usage in Red Bull Half Court’s Newsroom at redbullcontentpool.com.

Globe marked GDay 2026 by bringing its people together through shared experiences, appreciation and giving back. Through 917 Globe of Good, more than 800 employee volunteers shared their time and skills with communities, while employees pledged over ₱2 million to support the initiative.

A key part of GDay is 917 Globe of Good, which brought employees together for volunteer activities in education, hunger alleviation and nutrition, disaster relief, online safety and digital inclusion.

Through these activities, employees took the celebration outside the workplace and into the communities Globe serves.

Bringing Globe of Good to communities

A major part of this year’s Globe of Good was Senior Digizen, which engaged more than 600 senior citizens in Makati alone. KaGlobe volunteers guided participants on using technology for everyday needs, navigating useful digital services, recognizing potential scams and staying safe online.

Globe also brought the program to senior citizens in Taguig, extending its efforts to help more seniors use technology with greater confidence.

Employees also worked alongside partner organizations across Metro Manila to address other community needs. With the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), volunteers repacked family food packs, while others prepared and served meals through SOS Rescue Kitchen.

With Ayala Foundation, employees supported feeding and reading activities for schoolchildren and spent time with children and young people in partner institutions. Other volunteers helped screen U-Go scholarship applicants online, giving employees different ways to contribute their time and skills.

“GDay is about making our people feel valued and celebrating the many ways they contribute to Globe every day. What makes it even more meaningful is seeing our Ka-Globe extend that same care to the people and communities we serve,” said Carl Cruz, Globe President and CEO. “When our people give their time, share what they know and show up for others, they bring to life the kind of Globe we want people to experience every day.”

The good continues

The volunteer activities continue beyond the two major volunteering days on September 15 and 16, with employees across the country supporting communities in their respective territories throughout the month. Employees can also share their own acts of care as Globe works toward 917 acts of good through the end of September.

For Globe, the aim is to carry the spirit of GDay beyond the celebration itself. Through the connections employees build with one another and the communities they serve, Globe of Good gives employees a way to turn appreciation into action and make that spirit felt beyond September.

For cardholders who already enjoy earning cashback on everyday spending, getting another credit card shouldn’t mean giving up the rewards they already love. With Maya Credit Cards, you don’t have to stick to just one.

Eligible Maya cardholders can now enjoy both the Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card and the Maya Black Credit Card under one total credit limit. With a shared limit across both cards, cardholders can choose which one to use depending on the rewards they want to earn—whether that’s cashback they can use toward free groceries at Landers, or Maya Miles they can redeem for travel and lifestyle rewards.

Two Maya Credit Cards, one shared credit limit

Having a shared limit means your available credit is shared across both cards. Instead of having a separate credit limit for each one, you have one total credit limit that you can use whichever card you choose.

Purchases made on either card are deducted from the same total available credit. So having a second card doesn’t mean having another credit limit. It simply gives you more choice in how you use the credit already available to you, and how you want your spending to reward you.

Earn Cashback and Maya Miles

That choice comes down to what you want to get out of your spending.

With the Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card, you can earn 5% cashback at Landers Superstore, 2% cashback on dining, and 1% cashback on most other transactions. Your accumulated cashback can then be used toward purchases at Landers, turning the rewards you earn into free groceries.

Meanwhile, the Maya Black Credit Card lets you earn up to 10x Maya Miles at Maya Black Preferred Merchants. Maya Miles can be redeemed for travel and lifestyle rewards, giving your everyday spending something different to work toward.

Both cards can reward the spending you already do, just in different ways. Depending on what matters to you, you can choose to earn toward your next grocery run or build up Maya Miles for the travel and lifestyle rewards you want to enjoy.

Manage both credit cards in one place

Having more than one credit card doesn’t have to mean making your finances harder to manage.

Cardholders can manage their Maya Credit Cards in the Maya app, where they can track spending per card and see how much of their shared credit limit is still available.

Each card also has its own Statement of Account, so cardholders can clearly see their transactions and amount due for each card, making it easier to stay on top of spending and payments.

This way, you get the flexibility of having multiple cards while still having a clear view of how much credit you have available and where your spending is going.

More choice, without the extra complexity

What you want from your credit card rewards can change along with your priorities. You might want to turn the cashback you earn into free groceries at Landers, or earn Maya Miles you can redeem for travel and lifestyle rewards.

With a shared limit across Maya Credit Cards, eligible cardholders can choose the rewards that matter to them—giving them the best of both, all within one total credit limit.

Jollibee and DreamWorks Animation are teaming up for a global partnership tied to the worldwide theatrical release of Forgotten Island, a new original animated feature that celebrates friendship, family, and Filipino-inspired storytelling.

The collaboration brings together DreamWorks, the studio behind globally recognized films including Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Wild Robot, and Jollibee, the beloved Filipino restaurant brand that makes your favorite Chickenjoy, Yumburger, Jolly Spaghetti and Burger Steak.

The partnership also brings together shared themes of friendship and togetherness. Forgotten Island draws inspiration from Filipino mythology and stories passed down through Filipino families, while Jollibee has long brought people together through shared meals and everyday moments of joy. In the Philippines, the collaboration offers fans an opportunity to experience the film’s themes and Filipino cultural elements through Jollibee.

At the heart of Forgotten Island, from the filmmakers of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, are lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa, voiced by Grammy and Academy Award winner H.E.R. and Filipino actress Liza Soberano. The story follows the two friends as they discover a mysterious portal leading to Nakali, a magical island inhabited by mythical creatures inspired by stories from their Filipino families.

Their adventure takes a turn when they discover that returning home comes at the cost of losing their memories of each other. Joined by a group of allies, Jo and Raissa must navigate the challenges of Nakali while finding a way to preserve their friendship.

The film features an international voice cast that includes Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng, bringing together global talent and Filipino voices in a story rooted in Filipino-inspired mythology.

“At Jollibee, we've always believed that some of life's best memories are made around the dining table. Forgotten Island is a beautiful and moving story that reminds us of the power and importance of friendship, something that has always been at the heart of our brand,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “Through this partnership with DreamWorks, we're excited to give Filipinos another meaningful way to celebrate friendship, create lasting memories, and share the joy of eating together.”

To bring the partnership closer to Filipino fans, Jollibee Philippines will introduce the limited-time Forgotten Island Adventure Bundle launching September 16 in Metro Manila and September 23 in all other regions, available until October 31 at participating stores nationwide.

The Adventure Bundle includes Jollibee's 1-pc. Chickenjoy with rice and Pineapple Quencher, the new Peach Mango Pie à la Mode with Vanilla Soft Serve, Jollibee's Peach Mango Pie with Chocolate Sauce, and an exclusive Forgotten Island Friendship Charm Bracelet. The bundle is priced at ₱389.

Inspired by the film, the exclusive Friendship Charm Bracelet serves as a collectible that fans can take home as a memento of the partnership and the friendships celebrated in Forgotten Island.

The Forgotten Island Adventure Bundle will be available through dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru, while supplies last. Forgotten Island, distributed by Universal Pictures, opens in Philippine cinemas on September 23, 2026.
