Top 6 Nissan GT Academy Finalists Picked: On their way to Silverstone, U.K.
Finally, the Top 6 Filipino Players that will go bumper-to-bumper with the best GT drivers in Asia at Silverstone, U.K. was picked last July 15, 2015 culminating the two day National Finals where the finalists undergoes not just actual driving challenges using real car but also goes through a series of physical, mental, and personality challenges.
The Top Six winners are Raphael Miru Lesaguis , Luis Raphael Cachero, Terrence
Aldrich Lallave, Jose Gerald Policarpio, Daryl Brady and Joel Agojo.
Before the announcement and presentation of the Top 6, all twenty finalists; Francisco
Adriano, Joel Agojo, Paolo Vittorio Alcance, Daryl Brady, Rabboni John Buenaventura, Luis Raphael Cachero, Kim Jiger Chong, Juan Carlos Eejay de Borja, Ramoncito de Luna, Rodolfo
Faustino, Rio Halili, Richard Dean Jose, Jan Millard Lacuna, Terrence
Aldrich Lallave, Raphael Miru Lesaguis, Luis Antonio
Moreno, Cameron Jordan Padillo, Jose Gerald Policarpio, Mark Angelo Villamor and Michael Vincent Yap; who have gone through rigorous challenges the previous day, started afresh at the simulator
pods where they have undergone ten pod time attack challenges of three rounds
each. They were rated for the best lap time, consistency and super pole
times. Also, they were presented to the media for a panel interview as part of the personality challenges.

According to Mr. SJ Hun, Nissan Philippines Inc. General manager for Marketing, the final Top 6 "will battle it out against each other and other Asian representatives from Thailand, India, Japan and Indonesia, both on and off the real-world track." They will be using real-world race cars.
Filipino Swiss Lotus F1 Junior Team race car driver, who was on hand during the announcement of the Top 6, will serve as their coach, mentor and guest judge.
Stockinger said that he was happy to share his knowledge and experience in racing but "nothing beats the contestant's determination and drive to succeed in this demanding sport, " he added.
NPI President and Managing Director Antonio Zara were happy that Nissan gave this chance to the aspiring gamers and racers and turn their dreams into reality and help them fast track their dreams of becoming another potential Filipino Race Car Driver.
