Boy Abunda Joins GoodAh!!! Family

Goodah. When something is so epic that there are no words to describe it. From Urban Dictionary

Philippines' "King of Talk" Boy Abunda has expand his brand to restaurant world as he joins GoodAh!!!, the first ever, all native food chain that has been serving traditional, hot and quick served Filipino snack, which to most of us is comfort foods for more than thirty years.

A little bit of trivia. Did you now that GoodAh!!! is the one who coined the word "tapsi" in the Pinoy's vocabulary? This ubiquitous tapsi, longsi and all the "si" that can be found in almost every Filipino restaurants came from them. What more they are the only Filipino restaurant that is "Open 25 Hours and seven days a week. In short, you can go there anytime you want to and enjoy all their congee and rice meals, rain or shine. Open 25 hours is their assurance that people from all walks of life had a place to go to no matter what time of day or night.

Boy Abunda was a regular at GoodAh!!! when he was just starting his career in the 80's. Through the years he enjoyed its 25 hour quick service and when he was invited to become a business partner of GoodAh!!!, he did not hesitate in accepting the offer. In a way, it was his life coming full circle: from regular customer to business partner at the restaurant he loved.

Aside from joining the GoodAh!!! family, Boy Abunda will be sharing his own recipe for Bistek, his favorite at Goodah!!!. The restaurant has adopted Boy's version of bistek and is renaming it as GoodAh!!! Boy's Bistek in his honor.

Bistek is a favorite Pinoy dish of stir fried tender beef marinated in soy sauce and citrus.

We were lucky enough to taste the Boy's Bistek which Mr. Boy Abunda has personally cooked during the presscon. I must say I love the taste, it has a citrusy aftertaste. The beef is so tender and as we always say famously when something is yummylicious, "Sauce pa lang, Ulam na!"

After 33 years, GoodAh!!! is set to redefine the restaurant landscape with its patented brand of quick meals and personalized service with a casual dining ambiance. It is a dining institution that today's millennials will surely embrace with its delicious value for money meals, just as many Pinoy food lovers have in the past.
