First European Motor Show Ongoing at BGC from March 11 to 13, 2016
I love cars, in particular cars that are made in
Italy and Germany. One of my favorite moments when I was in Frankfurt Germany are
their roads and the cars that I see only in magazines zooming past the road. What
a surreal moment for me.
This year I’m in seventh heaven as Fairs and More
Inc. organized and holds the first European
Motor Show at Bonifacio High Street, Taguig this March
11 to 13, 2016.
The show features top European car makers and showcase their
latest models. According to the organizers, the theme of the first European
Motor Show is “See, Feel, Drive” which stresses the opportunity to See for yourself the wonders of European car design, technology,
tradition and brand equity; Feel the
luxury of European vehicles to convince you why they are ‘A Cut above the Rest’
as you experience the great comfort and elegance that go with any European car;
and experience the Drive that brings out the quality and
superiority of European cars when it comes to safety, performance and
reliability.
A ribbon cutting and a press conference was held on Saturday
March 12, 2016 and it was graced by none other than Mr. Guenter Taus, President
of the European Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, H.E. Ambassador Franz
Jessen, the Head of Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines and
other distinguished guests.
As I roam the High Street, I’m happy to see Audi, Peugeot, and
Maserati among others lining the street as if waiting for me to test drive
them. Yes, visitors who will be at the 1st European Motor Show will
have the chance to drive all these babies. The motor show is open and FREE to
the public.
The event is supported by Shell, MAN. Exhibiting
during the event are Audi, BMW, BMW Motorrad, MAN, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz,
Peugeot, Ural, Volkswagen and Volvo. Also showcasing their product lines are
Car Lack, Continental, DB Schenker, Liqui Moly, Philips and Wuerth.
