Facing the daunting task of handling
the grand reunion, the group of Estien Quijano, Batch 1991 representaive and
project director, said that it is their aim to foster camaraderie and
brotherhood in each Claretian batch.
“We
admit that putting things together for such a momentous event like the GAH is a
gargantuan task. Although the graduates have pursued different paths, are based
in different geographical locations, and are busy with their respective lives,
they have kept the lines of communication open and continue to practice the
core values of ‘Scientia Maxime Cum Virtute’ (Knowledge is Best With Virtue) to
unite and pursue our goal for the Golden Jubilee celebration,” Quijano said.
“The
prime movers of Batch ‘91 who have committed their time, talent, and treasures
are determined to pursue this heritage that they intend to hand down to the
younger Claretian generation. Being the record holder for the most number of
attendees from a batch during the school’s 40th GAH in 2007, they intend to
foster camaraderie and brotherhood in each Claretian batch,” he added.
In
line with all this preparation, Batch ‘91 has partnered with several
organizations to make this year’s Grand Alumni Homecoming a huge success. They will also tap the services and resources
of companies or businesses owned by batch members and turned to friends and
colleagues for support.
Aside from spearheding the reunion, the
batch has also initiated the creation of the search for the 50 Golden
Achievement awardees where each batch will be greatly represented.
