#AweSM Summer at SM City East Ortigas’ KidCon 2018

Summer 2018 has been amazing and #AweSM for the shoppers of the country’s favorite shopping destination, SM Supermalls.  Parents who want their kids to have a fun and exciting summer only have to go to SM to experience summer with new and educational activities available for the whole family.

At SM City East Ortigas, the months of April and May has been nothing but fun with its KidCon 2018 where daily workshops are happening.

For April, Calligraphy and Watercolor with Paper Friends MNL were done every MWF while Robotics and Storytelling by Gracewoods School Academy Inc., were scheduled every TThSat

For May, there’s a designated daily activity for Scrapbooking, Tennis, Ballet, Culinary, Singing & Ukulele, and Modelling and Dancing.



The memorable summer experience was made more fun as kids and parents experience the ultimate summer escapade at the Kid Con City’s Little Town Center and Summer Ball Pool.

Last May 17, after the Kid Con 2018 dance workshop, the kids got excited when everyone’s favorite Pokemon Pikachu decided to drop by and had a meet and greet with them. The POKEMON: Meet and Greet at SM City East Ortigas is part of the Kid Con 2018 where you get the chance to see your favorite Pokemon in action.

The following is the Meet and Greet Schedule of Pokemon:

May 19 - Kid Con Play Park, 5PM.
May 20 - Main Entrance Area, 2PM and 5PM
May 26 - Kid Con Play Park, 5PM
May 27 - Main Entrance Area, 2PM

Dina dela Paz, Awarded as Most Influential Filipina in the World

Another Filipina awarded in the 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL FILIPINA IN THE WORLD.

City Garden Grand Hotel Holds 2nd GRAND Skills Competition

Today, students from the Far Eastern University, National University, Philippine Women University, Lyceum and the University of Sto. Tomas got together for City Garden Grand Hotel’s 2nd GRAND Skills Competition.

For the second time City Garden Grand Hotel hold the competition where the top 5 schools competed for the chance to be the best in the following categories: Table set up with Centerpieces, Food Art, Bartending/Cocktail Mixing, and Gourmet Student Meals.

For six hours, students took the time to set up tables with their own theme and menu, prepared gourmet meals, food art and concoct drinks. Then it was time for the judges to pick the best among the best. Judges includes Chef Miko Aspiras, Jill Meneses, Chef Dennis Peralta, Jason Hussein Ali, Jordan Tan.
