Pepi Cubano Alert: New Branch Ready to Serve you in Uptown Mall BGC
I can live by sandwiches alone my
friends and family know this. Ever searching for a perfect sandwich, ordering
one has become a habit every time there’s something interesting in the menu.
Last year, I remember going to Pepi Cubano in Makati to meet a friend. We
ordered the Pan Media Noche because I’m a sucker for ham and cheese. And it was
the best sandwich I had in quite a while. Too bad busy schedules prevent me
from frequenting Pepi Cubano.
So, when I got an invite to the
official launch of Pepi Cubano over at Uptown Mall BGC, (so very, very near my
place!) I got super excited that even the hard rain didn’t stop me from going
there.
The festive atmosphere was not
dampened by the continuous rain. We saw that there’s already a line formed by people
wanting to have a taste of Pepi Cubano’s menu.
Guests and customers witnessed
the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open Pepi Cubano Uptown Mall BGC
branch. The atmosphere became more exciting with the arrival of Viva Artists like Ella Cruz, Meg Imperial, Tim Macardle, Donnalyn
Bartolome, and Janine Tenoso. A live band performed while people enjoyed
partaking of several Pepi Cubano dishes.
On our part, we enjoyed the Pan
de Lechon and Pan de Bistec. The large sandwich with its very generous filling
inside a perfectly crisp bread just proves that Pepi Cubano indeed has the best
sandwich in town. Their Nachos El Queso Fundido, Papas Rellenas, and Queso de
Bomba is perfect with the Mango Coronarita and the Mojito we ordered. What more, they have Arroz Cubano you can enjoy anytime of the day.
PEPl
CUBANO has come a long way since people have a taste of it in 2006. With 9 branches
now, Filipinos can enjoy its classic Cuban sandwiches or ‘Cubanos’ prepared the
traditional way. This latest branch in Uptown Mall BGC will be different from
the rest because it has expanded their menu as they introduced Cuban tapas which
paired so nicely with their various cocktails. The branch, with its 12-seating
company is also opened beyond mall hours for those who want to extend their
happy hours while enjoying their food.
So, go
satisfy your Cubano cravings and grab some Cuba to go with their other branches
located at UP Town Center, Trinoma, SM North Edsa, Robinsons Place Manila, Glorietta,
Shangri-la Plaza Mall, SM Megamall, Robinson’s Galleria.
