AXA now offers one-touch red button emergency assistance to motor policyholders

policyholders can now enjoy 24/7 emergency roadside assistance coverage across
the country for an additional P300.
This new service is available through the AXA Assist app, which presents
a first-of-its-kind emergency red button.
In case of emergencies, the application sends a distress
message and the location of the policyholder to emergency contact person/s and
AXA Assistance’s command center. The center then calls the policyholder to
inquire what service is needed and deploys police, ambulance, or fire
assistance. The AXA Assist app may be downloaded from the Google Play or Apple
Store.
“Through AXA Assist, we
want to give our motor insurance policyholders total peace of mind whenever and
wherever they travel. With our latest innovation, emergency assistance is easily accessible with the
touch of a button,” said AXA Philippines president and CEO Rahul Hora
Another
AXA Assist feature is telemedicine that offers expert medical advice round-the-clock
over the phone. Insured customers can also contact the medical team on weekends
or from abroad. Diagnoses, medical certificates, and treatment plans may be
issued.
AXA
policyholders can also avail of vehicle assistance, such as towing
services and minor repairs on-site of up to P5,000 as well as alternative travel assistance
and arrangement of hotel accommodation assistance, both up to P2,000.
Best
of all, a customer can conveniently file a claim on damages through the app. Additional
benefits of AXA Assist include concierge and lifestyle services such as
referral and reservation assistance and information regarding shopping
locations, flights, and the weather.
