Bigger and More Exciting SM Little Stars for 2019
It’s SM Little Stars season once again! For 2019, the
kiddie-talent search, with over 12 years of celebrating talented Filipino kids,
will be bigger and more exciting as SM Supermalls will give away over P9.5
million worth of prizes, including 2 brand new Chevrolet Sail, trips for 2 to China,
National University college scholarships, an exclusive contract with Regal
Artist Management, and P100,000 worth of cash and SM GCs. Isn’t that great news?
During the official launch earlier held at the Event Center of SM Megamall, SM Supermalls SVP for marketing Mr. Jonjon San Agustin happily shared, “Through SM Little Stars, we celebrate our commitment to making mall-going experiences fun, nurturing, and rewarding for the whole family, and to spark moments that kids will treasure today and in the coming years.”
For this season, the kids will get the chance to be trained by
celebrity mentors and entertainment gurus with the likes of Karylle and Tuesday
Vargas in a series of workshops to develop their talent, boost their
confidence, and encourage them to make new friends with other participants.
To date, SM Little Stars achievers who are now making waves in
showbiz include 2016 Boy Grand Winner Marcus Cabais, who exhibits talent as a movie
and theater actor, playing the role of the Young Simba at The Lion King The
Musical. While 2014 Girl Grand Winner Chun SaJung wins fans with her acting
prowess as a mainstay of a kiddie comedy show on TV.
Joining the celebrated kids is 2013 Boy Grand Winner Nhikzy Calma who
was awarded as WCOPA Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World in 2017 and
has now become part of prime-time variety shows. Not to be missed is 2016 Girl
Grand Winner turned commercial model Sheena Kirtsten Bentoy who plays as the Young
Nala in Disney’s The Lion King The Musical Asian Tour.
