Cake Tester

Tesco Chief chilled dessert and cake developer Laura Fagan has one of the best job in the world. She gets paid to try as many as 20 deserts in one day. Well, somebody has to do it. We all want to buy and eat the best cakes and pastries and someone has to ensure its good quality so that we may come back and buy time and again. Ms. Fagan's work involved visiting patisseries in several different countries in order to taste as many varieties so that Tesco could to come up with something new.

Fortune Cookie Writer

Ever wonder who writes those advice that accompany those chinese meal take out we're a slave to consume once a week? Google says that a certain Donald Lau of Long Island City's Wonton Food, Inc. is one of the world's leading fortune-cookie fortune authors but he has suffered writer's block for the past ten years and hasn't come up with anything. But i know of only one character who has been a fortune cookie writer. The Simpson patriarch, the one and only Homer Simpson. (I know i watch too much tv to remember that) There was one episode where the Simpsons take in the sights and sounds of Chinatown and dine at a Chinese restaurant. As they finish the meal, Homer opens a fortune cookie and reads his fortune aloud. When Homer voices displeasure with his fortune, and informs the restaurant manager it doesn’t make any sense, he makes up some of his own. Impressed, the manager hires Homer to write fortunes. And that's how he end up being a fortune cookie writer and these are among the advice that may have brought a nightmare to the one who expects his or her fortune:

"You will invent a humorous toilet lid."
"You will find true love on Flag Day."
"Your store is being robbed."

Dog Food Tester

Dog food tester! Like eew! But Simon Allison's job is to eat pet food for a living. OMG! I know we love our dogs and cats but i never realized that somebody has to make sure that their food must be tested. Simon gets to eat and taste chicken dinners, beef strips or campfire jerky bars and it's all the same to him: if it's a dog's dinner (or cat's breakfast), he eats it. What's more, he enjoys it.

Mr Allison is a senior food technologist for Marks & Spencer with special responsibility for pet food. This means no M&S product goes into the nation's pet bowls unless it has been tasted by him first.

Adult Toys Tester

I have only seen the outside of an adult toy store and i saw one adult booth in Frankfurt Airport. I'm not judgmental or anything but there really are some women who has BOB for her boyfriend. Yes, a Battery Operated Boyfriend. So it makes sense that someone has a job to ensure that customers gets a satisfying purchase for this type of merchandise. If this is your job, you will be sent sample products as well as forms indicating some of your sexual preferences so that the makers know what type of sex toys and adult products you will be testing.

When a product is dispatched an email is sent to the Tester notifying them that something is on its way. Testers have up to two weeks of fun and frolics with the product and to submit their review of what they thought of the item and how it performed.

Reviews can be submitted at the website using the online review form. There are also some handy hints and tips of things that could be discussed within the review, just in case you're struggling to know what to write.

Bra Fitter

Curiouser and curiouser. But i was when i saw that there's job for Bra Fitting. Most of us would buy bras and assumed our sizes and Oprah was right into saying that more than 90 percent of the women is wearing the wrong bra sizes. UK store Debenhams hires people to be Bra Fitters and believe you me they need to undergo trainings for this.

Trainees will be taught how to 'deal with body odour and customers' negative perception of size in relation to reality', as well as 'assessing body language and how to influence the customer away from unsuitable buying decisions positively'.

Having learnt to 'recall key facts about bra styles, shapes and sizes', students will be taught how to 'investigate different body shapes and bust types' and 'explore the rapport and environment suited to customer needs' while the third unit teaches trainees how to 'investigate customer's lingerie requirements' and 'examine challenging situations'.

'Fitters need to be trained not to be embarrassed,' said Beverley Paddey, from Skillsmart, an organisation dedicated to developing retail skills. 'You get very uncomfortable situations in the changing rooms, with anyone from teenagers to transvestites and transsexuals as customers.

So there you are. I'm sure there are more jobs that you haven't thought of exist but these are just my Top 5.
