Going Gaga over Hattendo Japanese Chilled Cream Buns
I've heard it from the grapevine for years now that aside from all those sweets I love coming from Japan, there's still that one thing I haven't tasted yet, the much famed Hattendo Japanese "Chilled" Cream Buns. And wouldn't you know it, it's finally here and invading the metro.
Hattendo Chilled Cream Buns, with an 80 plus years of high quality product experience, is a new food concept. It is a combination of sweets and bread that taste so deliciously especially if it's chilled. It's not your ordinary bread as it is a soft bun with delectable cream filling that will surely melt in your mouth.
A liitle bit of Hattendo history...
Hattendo is named after a small shrine that stood centuries in Hiroshima, Japan. It is said that travellers used to rest at this small temple and prayed for their safety.
Hattendo also means "unlimited prosperity."
The original founder, Mr. Kaoro Morimitsu believed that Hattendo should be the brand name of his new venture when he opened his first store in 1933.
Since then, Hattendo become a family business and the secret recipe for the delicious pastry has been handed down from generation to generation.
Hattendo's success has continued for more than 80 years mainly because of its authenticity and high quality of its products and services.
Thus, the Hattendo tradition lives on.
Hattendo has seven delicious flavors that will surely satisfy the sweet palate of Filipino pastry lovers. Me? I know i love, love Hattendo. it was love at first bite.
