Fashion + Art Colludes at SM Taytay as SM Supermalls' celebrates 30th anniversary
SM Taytay also join other SM malls in observance of Earth HouR
Collaborated as part of SM Supermalls' 30th anniversary celebration, SM
Taytay holds a fashion parade entitled: COLLABORATION 30: FASHION MEETS ART
where they invited 15 artists and 15 fashion designers and 30 models of Rizal last March
19, 2016.
These 15 fashion designers and 15 visual artists’
who all hailed from the Art capital province that is Rizal, collaborated to come
up with a collection of glorious hand painted gowns, it was
also an opportunity to celebrate National Women’s Month.
SM shoppers were able
to get a look of the hand-painted gowns and here’s the highlight of the grand
fashion show.
After the fashion
show, everyone who was there were also invited to join the Earth Hour 2016 activity and share their commitment to make this planet better.
This will be the eight
year that SM has supported this activity as part of their environment campaign
to make this planet a better world.
As part of their
activity, SM Taytay comes up with a unique adaptation of reminding everyone in
the audience to fight global warming and observe waste management by putting
glow sticks inside recycled bottled water. It lights up beautifully when the
lights were switched off. During the 60 minutes light switched off, a band also
serenaded the audience.
