Feast on Dome Cafe's New Menu and Avail of their Loyalty Card
They say
that to properly assess a good restaurant you need a multiple visit. Dome Cafe
is one of my favorite places in EDSA Shangrila Mall. Years ago my boss
introduced us to their good coffee, an espresso served together with a
cheesecake. I've been back twice after that, the latest last December where we
had so much fun tasting a few of their dishes.
What I love
about Dome Cafe is their old world European charm. Their trademark
espresso-stained wooden floor and their nicotine stained ceiling is the best
I've seen. The art exhibit displayed around the entire place is a feast to the
eye and this is the works of famous artist Mr. Enrique C. Cachero.
Last
Saturday, my friends and I had a feast, literally, as Dome cafe introduces its
new menu which they began serving on March 14th.
With 18 years of literally being in the Shang. Loyal diners were asked what
the best dishes they love are. Somewhere between their famous and brand
new dishes, Dome Cafe came up with a new menu that will satisfy their loyal and
new diners.
And this is four of you shouldn't miss dishes while at Dome Cafe. Next
of course, to this one of a kind cappuccino.
I'm a
sucker for burger so this Classic Burger is the first one I've tried. Made of
Dome's Cafe very own flavorful beef patty, they added American cheese, fresh
tomato, fresh onion and bacon. The cheese added more flavor to the burger and
served with sweet potato chips this burger is really a must eat one.

Another favorite is the Vegetarian Sandwich. Served
open face on pizza bread, tomato, onion, zucchini, bell pepper and mushrooms
were roasted and drizzled on with basil pesto and feta cheese. The result is
one delicious and healthy sandwich that even non vegetarian will love and enjoy.

Another favorite is the Classic Primavera Pasta. I love Dome Cafe's
pasta but this pasta is excellent. You can taste the broccoli, zucchini, asparagus
and cherry tomato that has been tossed in butter, parmesan cheese and cream
sauce over the linguine pasta.

But the best is yet to come when the Salmon and Egg
Mayo Sandwich is served. I love the combination of smoked salmon, egg mayo
spread and asparagus

These four are just my personal favorite and what I can eat everyday
because it's so delicious.
Other new dishes are the Mixed Grilled Sausages, Garden Salad, Hungarian
Sausage Sandwich, Sweet and Spicy Grilled Salmon, Sausage and Egg on Toast and
the bacon and Egg on Toast.

And other good news to Dome's loyal diners is the Dome Connoisseur Card. It is the official loyalty card of Dome Cafe with exclusive rewards and promos.. It was launched last January with its new card design which showcases the beauty of the store.

For you to avail of the Conno card, you must visit
the restaurant at least 3 times and have your cards stamped. Once you have
completed the 3 stamps, you will be given your Conno plastic cards and be

All in all, my latest Dome Cafe experience is superior as well as memorable, their high quality and delicious new dishes is something you should try. You can also enjoy their accoustic night where you can enjoy unlimited cocktails for just P300. The new menu is a smart concept for a restaurant that has been thriving for 18 years now and what did not change is their savvy service and the wonderful staff who always make it a joy to eat and dine at Dome cafe.
